  9. Oberon-A is a freely-distributable Oberon-2 compiler. Oberon-2 is a
  10. modern object-oriented language designed by Niklaus Wirth, the creator
  11. of Pascal and Modula-2, and Hanspeter Mössenböck. Oberon-A is an
  12. implementation of the language for the Amiga computer, ported from a
  13. compiler written by Niklaus Wirth.

  15. The archive contains the complete source code for the compiler, associated
  16. utilities and the run-time library.  The binaries and documentation are in
  17. the archive Oberon-A_1.2.lha. This archive supersedes Oberon-A_1.0_src.lha
  18. and Oberon-A_1.1_src.lha and incorporates all the bug-fixes and
  19. improvements made to date.
